The 31st 11th Exhibition of Prints from Tyler Graphics Archive Collection
September 13, 2003 - December 23, 2003
Tyler Graphics, the print workshop which represents contemporary American prints, has presented more than 1,000 editions of prints by more than 40 artists since 1974. The artists who created works there were the great masters of second half of the 20th century, such as Frank Stella, David Hockney and Roy Lichtenstein. The works, which were created by their collaboration, are a representative group of the best in American contemporary art.
Today, a collection showing the whole scope is stored at the Walker Art Center and the National Gallery of Australia. Also in Japan, CCGA has been collecting those works with Tyler Graphics and the collection has grown to over 1,000, which cover almost all the major works.
In this exhibition, featuring the new CCGA collection, we have presented the works of James Rosenquist, Frank Stella and Donald Sultan to demonstrate the quality of contemporary American prints.
