MOT Annual 2008: Unraveling and Revealing

The MOT Annual exhibition is an opportunity for the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo to survey significant issues in contemporary art from Japan in the public domain. It has occurred since 1999. The 2008 exhibition title is "Tokihogusu Toki" (Unraveling and Revealing) and includes work by five artists: Aiko Tezuka, Teppei Kaneuji, Toshiaki Hicosaka, Mariko Takahashi and Fumio Tachibana. more...

On a recent weekday I took a long lunch to slip out of the office and head to the Prismic Gallery in Gaienmae, Tokyo. It is an intimate, one-room exhibition space on the fifth floor of the Akimoto Minami-Aoyama Building.
