In many different industries, packaging is simply indispensable, putting a familiar or
appealing face on the products we use.
DNP develops and manufactures a wide variety of
packaging materials, including paper containers, plastic bottles, flexible packaging, and
laminated tubes, as well as packaging for medical and industrial materials.
We came up with the phrase "USE-FULLR Packaging" to express our packaging design
policy, which incorporates three consumer conveniences: universal design,

Besides conducting R&D for new materials and processing methods, we propose and

DNP's printing technologies are converging to create new decorative materials to
make the places we live and work in more comfortable and healthier than ever.
We have developed a spectrum of decorative surface products for greater comfort in
many different settings: interior materials for walls, ceilings, and floors; doors,
closets, and other storage areas; decorative water-resistant materials for bathroom
and kitchen units; siding panels and other outside building materials; surface
materials for home appliances; and many different interior materials for cars and trains.
DNP printing technology produces evocative environments through a variety of interior
materials.
Techniques such as printing on curved surfaces with the Curlfit Thermoject
printing system make this possible; these and other advanced techniques have won
acclaim for the DNP design repertoire at home and abroad. |

DNP has applied proprietary "clean-converting" technology to the creation of
products in many different fields.
In display manufacturing, DNP optical film makes viewing easier, with innovations
such as anti-reflective and anti-glare film for polarizing plates in LCD displays and
electromagnetic-shielding film for the front filters of plasma displays. In device energy
management, DNP has developed electrodes for lithium-ion rechargeable batteries to
power mobile phones and other mobile devices. In the field of IT and communication,
DNP provides insulation materials for flat cables used in digital home appliances,
as well as polishing film for optical fiber in the public communication infrastructure.
Additionally, many DNP innovations are at work in the field of information media supplies:
ink ribbons and printing paper indispensable for hard copies from IT devices;
dye-sublimation transfer ribbons (STRs) for digital camera and photo-sticker printouts; and
fused thermal transfer ribbons (TTRs) used in many applications,
including plain-paper facsimile machines, outdoor signs, and advertising on buses.
