After our 1995 launch of a fully integrated
Internet service we called
Media Galaxy, we established the industry's
first site of its kind with the
Internet Data Center in 2000, attesting
to our proactive role in promoting
network-based business. Since
then, over 400 participating companies
have benefited from DNP solutions,
ranging from consulting and
content planning and production to
system construction, hosting, site
operation, and the provision of applications.
Today, DNP coordinates
product database systems for catalog
production and other uses, personal
email services, smart-cardbased
authentication systems, electronic
payments, and many other
systems.
Comprehensive solutions
from DNP cover multiple forms of
information media, extending from
paper media to the Internet, packaged
media including DVDs, mobile
phones, and BS/CS data broadcasts. |

IC tags hold great potential as a
next-generation management support
medium.
They are seen as a
promising replacement for barcodes
in a variety of merchandise and in a
range of applications.
DNP has been
involved in this field from the start.
In 2000 we developed Accuwave, a
line of original IC tag products.
Two
years later DNP became the first
Japanese company to collaborate
with the U.S.-based Auto-ID Center.
In 2003 we formally established our
R&D center dedicated to IC tag research.
As a IC tag solutions provider,
DNP innovations go beyond support
for traceability and product and
distribution management.
Electronic
posters from DNP transmit sightseeing
information to mobile
phones.
"Navigation" carts help
shoppers on merchandise and provide
store information.
"Kids in
Feel" protects children by alerting
parents to their whereabouts. Look
for these and many other new solutions
from DNP IC tag business development.
