The 254th Exhibition The Warsaw Wind 1966-2006: Gold Prize Winning Entries from the Warsaw International Poster Biennale August 3(Fri.) - 28(Tue.),2007

It is always a great distinction to have an opportunity to organize an exhibition in such place as ggg in Tokyo. I am very glad that I have had this possibility with reference to the Warsaw Biennale Gold Medal winning works, which are part of the Poster Museum at Wilanow collection. The exhibition, opened in August 2007, was a wonderful chance to see the most important poster works from the past half a century. I was also grateful for the opportunity to make an exhibition-related speech at the day of the opening ceremony and to meet my friends, Japanese graphic designers. While preparing the exhibition, speaking with the ggg representatives in Warsaw and in Tokyo, while discussing the most detailed issues concerning the very posters and the exhibiting, lending, insurance and transport matters, and, last but not least, seeing the final effect at the opening ceremony - in each of the moments I encountered the best professionalism. This has to arouse esteem. The exhibition also gave me an opportunity to meet the master of poster design, Kazumasa Nagai, personally. I am glad that all this happened in this extraordinary place - ggg gallery. Thank you!
