Fran Willing makes abstract paintings by trickling paint and powdered
pigments onto a panel of more wet paint. Paint oozes freely congealing in
blisters and globules . The resulting surface looks like sumptuous ceramic
glazing inducing close inspection and meditative absorption. Willing lives
and works in New York.
