Purpose |
| The Okayama Prefectural Museum of Art was founded for the purpose of contributing to the development of cultural activities in many areas for the people of Okayama, through holding exhibitions and events introducing domestic and foreign art activities, in addition to collecting and exhibiting the works of the artists connected with Okayama. |
