Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (DNP), V-cube, Inc. (V-cube) and Pioneer VC Corporation (Pioneer VC), are pleased to announce the conclusion of an operational alliance designed to support companies with operational efficiency by linking our various company systems.

As the first step in this operational alliance, the companies will link a digital signage and related contents delivery system developed by DNP, and a visual communications service on an internet connection for teleconferencing purposes provided by V-cube and Pioneer VC, and market these in a product bundle. As a result, it will be possible for companies adopting the new service to share information, energize communications, increase the efficiency of maintenance and management operations, and make rapid responses in cases of emergencies in a more efficient manner at their offices and factories.

[Systems to be Linked and Services to be Provided]

With digital signage that is mainly installed within companies, it is possible to distribute messages from top management and mission-critical information aiming to build a unity of purpose as an organization, as well as promptly convey emergency disaster information. And as it is also possible to disseminate to employees news releases about new products and services from the company, and information regarding in-house welfare services and event information, digital signage has begun to be introduced at many companies.

The visual communications service provided by V-cube and Pioneer VC helps achieve increased maintenance and management operations efficiency, as well as reducing travel time and cost by offering teleconferencing that uses computers and tablet terminals in an internet environment to link several remote bases, such as manufacturing sites and HQ or business offices in real time. It is also possible for participants in such teleconferences to both share and edit design drawings and CAD data displayed on the screen.

As a result of this operational alliance, it is now possible to take the displays normally used as digital signage, and use them as communications infrastructure when hosting teleconferences. And as it is also possible to deliver emergency information, share information and promptly host conferences on responses when disasters occur, this new support service also contributes to speeding up countermeasures from the initial reaction to the closing stages. In this way, it is possible to boost efficiency and convenience in various instances of, including in-house information delivery, maintenance and management operations, in emergency responses, and process control of operational processes, such as manufacturing industry planning, design and production.
