[Products to be Offered]
Philips digital signage displays
MMD is responsible for marketing displays produced under the Philips brand on a global basis. Philips is a household name in Europe, as a maker of electronic appliances, and boasts a global network. Philips has also developed a powerful brand reputation as a display maker, and DNP is proud to be able to launch marketing efforts for Philips digital signage displays in the domestic market.
Philips maintains a rich lineup of digital signage displays, which include low power consumption, energy-saving, and low running costs 32 inch displays, such as the high-end VL-Line series, the EL-Line series, that is the company's major model, all the way up to a 65 inch display. It is possible to use these displays in a variety of situations, including on a standalone basis, or in multi-use settings that link several displays together to display a single image. The power of the Philips brand makes it possible to offer the optimum display for each installment environment.
LITEMAX digital signage displays
LITEMAX is a maker of industrial LCDs, which has, over many years, developed core technologies for high-brightness, dust proof and water proof, lower power consumption, heat countering, resizing and transparent liquid crystals. The company offers many industrial LCDs, mainly in Europe, U.S. and Asia. DNP will enter into an operational alliance with LITEMAX, and will market LITEMAX displays that are used in a variety of locations, including transport facilities and retail distribution outlets in Japan. In particular, DNP will market resizing displays.
LITEMAX displays include a range of strip-type products, such as the Stanpixie series, of resizable displays with a width - length ratio of 16:3 - 16:6. Such strip-type displays are suitable for highly appealing contents expressions. They also facilitate installment in locations that have been difficult to use to date, as well as in other space-challenged environments.
As a result of marketing products from Philips and LITEMAX, DNP will boost its lineup of digital signage displays, and strengthen its functions as a multivendor. DNP will offer the rich array of digital signage displays from Philips and LITEMAX for a variety of installment locations. At the same time, the Company will also provide a one-stop total service of digital signage display services, from contents production through distribution to maintenance and operation. DNP aims for sales of 1.0 billion yen in the year ending March 31, 2017.
The products were displayed at the DNP booth at Retailtech Japan 2014, held at Tokyo Big Sight from March 4 until March 7.
