[DNP Digital Newspaper Sales Service]
The digital newspaper sales service offered by DNP since May 2014, is an electronic service that facilitates the purchase of the latest editions of specialist and industry newspapers, along with back numbers. Specialist and industry newspapers that focus on dedicated areas and industries, and which offer commentary on products, services, market developments and related political issues, are mainly subscribed to by industry-related businesses and organizations, along with universities and vocational colleges.
It is possible to subscribe to the new service by making a computer-based registration and logging on. Doing so allows subscribers to read articles at any place and at any time in the same layout as a newspaper, using not only computers, but also smart phones and tablet terminals. In addition to routine distribution to subscribers, it is possible to purchase articles on an individual unit basis and back-numbers from specialist and industry newspapers that normally work on the basis of full year subscription contracts for their paper editions.
In line with the launch of this new application, three new titles have been added to the subscription list making it possible to choose from a total of 28 specialist and industry newspapers. Looking ahead, DNP will boost the offered lineup and develop an Android version of the application.
iPad and iPhone application downloads can be conducted free of charge. Pricing will also be set for purchases of individual units of each newspaper, and monthly subscription fees.
DNP also offers a value plan for professional users, allowing for applications in 5 ID units.
